Easter Eggs

Are you looking for somewhere amazing to visit during the Easter holidays?  Then make the trip to Armagh Planetarium and visit the stars! Beginning on Monday 10 April until Friday 21 April we have a thrilling line-up of Digital Theatre shows on offer as well as many ‘eggciting’ activities to keep you entertained!

Have you ever built your own rocket, fuelled it up and launched it?  Well, during the holidays our ever popular rocket-making workshop will continue to inspire the future rocket scientists of the world (if conditions permit launching).  Guided by a rocket engineer you will be shown the secrets of rocketry and hopefully have a successful launch from the launch pad.

Often at Easter, eggs need to be hunted, and alien eggs are no exception!  Hidden amongst the displays in the exhibition area are some little unwelcome EGGStraterrestrials.  Find them all for a chance to enter our amazing prize draw!

And, if all that wasn’t enough, we will have an arts and crafts workshop for you to design your very own Easter creation to take home!

What better way to spend your Easter break.

Opening hours: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Shows playing:

11am: Astronaut George

12noon: Perfect Little Planet

1pm: Beyond the Blue

2pm: We Are Stars

3pm: Sun, Moon and Stars

4pm: Black Holes

Pre-booking a Digital Theatre show is advisable on 02837 523689

(Please note we are closed on Friday 14th April)
