stones of mankind's adventures out into space.

PLANETARIUM DISPLAY AREA

Visitors
can use interactive displays to learn about
the cosmos and watch the latest space news
in real time. The Armagh Celestial Cathedral
is a beautiful gallery of illuminated deep
space images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope
framed in dramatic gothic arches. Travel to
the International Space Station, outwards
to Mars in our 3D stereo room and our experience
our new immersive gallery which can project
stereoscopic animations of Solar System exploration.

THE 113kg GIBEON METEORITE

Armagh Planetarium
is currently displaying a composite collection
of meteorite samples belonging to the Ulster
Museum that are on loan alongside the
Planetariums own collection. This temporary
exhibit is not to be missed as it contains
both Lunar and Martian samples beside a representative
collection of different meteorite types. The
samples are on loan while the Museum is closed
for renovations.
