ASTRONOMY
The Armagh Planetarium popularises not only astronomy but also general scientific and technological knowledge for all levels of society.
  WHAT IS THE FRIENDS' SOCIETY?
The Armagh Planetarium Friends' Society is a forum for organisations and individuals to show their support for the continuation and development of the Planetarium and its contribution to tourism, astronomy and science education and ultimately the human colonisation of space.
Friends' Society members, through their close association with the Planetarium, can continually enrich their own knowledge, as well as enjoy the opportunity of priority notification regarding the social and educational activities of the Planetarium. Society members receive a monthly newletter and starcharts, 10% discount on all items in our gift shop, invitations to Planetarium functions, regular outings and much more.
